‘Are You Volleyball?!’ to attend Kinolub Int’l Film Festival in Poland

Iran short film ‘Are You Volleyball?!' has been scheduled to be screened at the 4th edition of Kinolub International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Poland.

The flick is to attend the competition section of the Polish film event.

Directed by Mohammad Bakhshi, the film features a group of Arabian-spoken asylum seekers who arrive in an English spoken country border and can’t keep going. They conflict with border soldiers every day till a deaf-mute baby becomes a catalyst for better communication between two groups.

Kinolub is an international film festival organized since the year 2015 by the IKS Foundation in the cities of Southern Poland, including small villages, where the screenings are held in local cultural institutions.

The focus is also set on film education and that is the event’s unique and important feature.

The 2018 edition of the event is slated for June 1st-22nd. The festival is currently underway.
